La reciente publicación de los Manuscritos económico-filosóficos deMarx (escritos en 1844 e impresos en el tercer volumen de la primera parte de las Obras completas de Marx y Engels)  está llamada a constituir un acontecimiento capital en la historia de los estudios marxistas.  Estos manuscritos son susceptibles de colocar la discusión relativa al origen y al sentido inicial del materialismo histórico, es decir, de la entera teoría del "socialismo científico", sobre un terreno nuevo; ellos permiten también establecer de una manera mas amplia y fecunda el problema de las relaciones reales entre Marx y Hegel
